One of the Fund’s critical objectives is to train Human Resource and Payroll officers about the Rules and Regulations of the Fund and also relevant industry topics. The Fund conducts training workshops bi-annually and the invitation is extended to all the municipalities in KZN.
With reference to the training workshops, surveys are conducted after each training section to review the quality of the contents and to measure the level of understanding from attendees.
The training sessions are informative and promote interaction between facilitator and attendees. In the workshops, real case studies are explored and they are addressed to ensure understanding and relevance.
At the end of each workshop each delegate is presented with a Certificate of Attendance by Senior Management of the Fund. This is a way of expressing the Fund’s appreciation for the time and effort spent by the delegates. These workshops are well attended and the feedback from formal evaluations has been positive.
